What is content?
Content is online material that sparks interest in your business, products, services and expertise. The process of creating and sharing blogs, case studies, e-books, videos, PR, emails, newsletters and social media in order to connect with your key customers are all examples of content marketing.
Why do I need a content marketing plan?
A great content plan will capitalise on social trends, calendar events, customer pain points, and important dates for your business and in the industry you operate. This approach will ensure your updates are timely, relevant and of interest to your target audience.
By planning all of these things in advance, you will have lots of ideas and content already prepared and ready to share throughout the year in a focused manner. Much easier to manage than trying to rack your brain for new posts and inspiration each week!
